How to Join RVSC
Joining Rossendale Valley Sailing Club is easy, flexible and great value. We have a wide range of membership packages to suit you and your intended use of club facilities. For example, membership for a single adult without their own boat is only £140 per annum, which is as little as £2.69 per week!!!
Our membership year runs from 1 January until 31 Dec.
There is a one off joining fee of £35 in the first year. Club Keys are available at £20, allowing access to the club during the week.
Joining Mid Year
The club has special membership rates for new members wanting to join mid way through the season. We recognise that a new member joining in August should not expect to pay the full rate with half the season sailed. Members joining in August will pay half the appropriate fee. For new members wanting to join in October and later the full fee is payable but will cover the following year’s membership.
The Joining Fee will be applicable in both instances..
How to Use WebCollect
WebCollect is our online shop which enables membership applications and renewals to be made, and subscription fees and boat berth fees to be paid online by Direct Debit. There are different arrangements dependant upon the time of year.
From 1 Jan to 31 Jan:
Full year subscriptions or monthly subscriptions are available. The Membership Secretary will be holding “Renewal Days” throughout January. All subscriptions are for the full year from 1 January. Options are provided to pay this in 12 monthly instalments. The whole annual amount remains due to the Club.
1 Feb to 31 July:
Full year subscriptions only. The monthly payment concession is removed.
1 Aug to 30 Sept:
Half price subscriptions.
1 Oct to 31 Dec:
Full year subscriptions are valid until the end of the next subscription year.
The available WebCollect membership categories will be adjusted throughout the year to reflect these options.
WebCollect is also used to book training courses, social events and fishing permits.
If you have any problems using WebCollect contact the Membership Secretary.
