Ways to Help your Club

Join the Council

Members are always welcome on the Club Council.  Council can co-opt members to become full members and participate in meetings, or additional members to assist Council in specific tasks.

Become an Instructor

See the RTC (RYA Training Centre) Principal to express an interest in coaching and teaching.  Positions are always available for enthusiastic members to train as Senior Instructor, Instructor and Assistant Instructor.  Subsidised access to training courses is provided by  the club in exchange.

Join a Work Party

Work Parties are organised throughout the year to keep the facilities in good order.  Look out for adverts and requests for help and lend a hand.  If you have specific skills and talents that you want to offer contact a Council member.

Run the Clubhouse

Members are required to open and close access to the clubhouse and offer a basic galley service during the club activity days.  Add your name to the duty roster if you are interested.
